Beauty surrounded Jordan and Kim’s wedding day. Perhaps it was the product of the beauty they exude as people. Stories abounded about how loving, caring and selfless they both are and as everyone in attendance would have wished for them, they got a wedding day that most only dream about. The weather was perfect, the details were gorgeous, and the joy and excitement each of their guests had only added to the ambiance. Kim weaved together a palette of navy blue and pink that was simply stunning from the tuxedos to the flowers and favors right down to the decorative balls that Kim created for her own wedding day.
Kim and her girls chose to prepare for this special day in the lush accommodations of the Ethan Allen Hotel. They chose to make their vows to one another at St. Paul’s Church in Brookfield, CT. After a classy, traditional ceremony in this picturesque church, it was off to the Candlewood Inn to party the night away! The wonderful staff at the Candlewood Inn always know how to take care of a bride and groom and throw the most elegant wedding receptions. The incredible service and delicious food combined with the wonderful music from Donna Grasso and Manhattan Soul created a festive backdrop for the amazingly fun evening that was enjoyed by all who attended.
The flowers were very important to Kim. She carefully selected the perfect combination of fresh peonies and classic roses to complement her bouquet. It was soft, yet elegant, very much like Kim.
The contrast of the bright pink bouquets with the navy blue ribbon and dresses was beautiful.
One of the many benefits of having two photographers is having different vantage points. Rachel was able to capture the image on the left from inside the church while Brian took the one on the right.
The natural light was perfect that day (a photographer’s dream) and we took full advantage. Kim was absolutely stunning and the sun enhanced her beauty.
Jordan and Kim were engaged in San Francisco and spent several days with each other in Napa Valley. It was only fitting for them to have wine with their meal. Did we mention how perfect the natural light was?
Jordan and Kim, thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day. You are both are extremely wonderful people and, along with your friends and family, we also rejoice that you will get to spend the rest of your lives together. May the loving kindness and generosity that so pervades your personalities and relationship continue to flow freely into your new life as husband and wife.
