Freddy and Jessica are such a beautiful couple and they could not have asked for a more incredible day to be married on. Jessica found us by seeing pictures of a previous wedding we had done and she immediately knew that she wanted us to be her wedding photographer. She contacted us well in advance of her special day so we have had the past couple of years leading up to it to get to know them through an engagement shoot as well as the normal consultations and preparations. We absolutely love it when someone is 100% certain that our style is what they are looking for and they give us complete freedom to shoot their wedding however we want. This creative independence is not only a lot of fun for us, but it also pays off because it allows us to be 100% focused on what we do best.
Freddy and Jessica planned their day with superior excellence and attention to detail. Inspired by a peacock blue theme, they did a nice job of incorporating this into so many elements from the girls’ dresses, to the invitations and table cards, and they even had actual peacock feathers included with their favors on the tables at the reception. They truly poured every ounce of themselves into this special moment in their lives and you could easily see that at every turn. From the keepsakes of previously passed grandparents to the large number of close family members and friends who played so many different roles in the day, it was a very intimate and personal occasion for them to consummate their love and have the time of their life celebrating it.
After the formalities were over, it was off to The Water’s Edge at Giovanni’s in Darien, CT, for the reception. Freddy and Jessica rode in style in a 1965 Rolls Royce while the wedding party rocked out in a stretch Infinity both supplied by Merritt Limousine Company. JoAnn and her amazing team from The Water’s Edge did an incredible job hosting the reception. The flowers, centerpieces and favors that were put together by P. Rogers & Company in Stamford were absolutely gorgeous! The cake from DiMare Pastry Shop in Stamford was exquisite. If the food and decor weren’t enough, the music and entertainment for the night was solid. You know that everyone will enjoy their time at the reception with Big Daddy from James Daniel Entertainment at the helm. He knows the right music to play that fits the tastes of the bride and groom but also gets everyone out of their seat and involved in the dancing. We must say that Freddy and Jessica have a LOT of good dancers in the family. Everyone from Freddy’s little brother to Jessica’s parents were showing off their dance moves until the music stopped at the end of the night.
Freddy and Jessica, it’s been an honor getting to know you over the past couple years. You were so laid back and easy to work with and we can’t say enough about how beautiful your wedding was and how much fun we had capturing it. Your life has been blessed with such wonderful families and fun loving friends and we count it a blessing to consider you as more than just clients. We hope to stay in touch and would love to photograph you again in the future!
