It has been 3 years since Sandy Hook Elementary School was in the national spotlight. What the world has seen and learned through the resilience of this quaint New England town in the months and years since is that there is only one thing that overcomes, one thing that triumphs no matter what the circumstance. Love wins!
Nick and Amy met each other as students in Sandy Hook Elementary School many, many years ago. Their friendship developed as young kids and their love for one another budded and bloomed as they grew into adults. They were truly meant for each other and after a long journey of love and friendship, they are finally husband and wife!
As a tribute to the youthful beginnings of their relationship and Nick’s job as a teacher (and because they’re just cool like this), they chose a legit school bus as their transportation for the day. It was a very moving and sentimental day. The crisp fall air and the vibrant foliage created a beautiful and serene setting that was so perfect for the tone of their wedding. We were able to enjoy the scenic overlook of beautiful Newtown from atop Castle Hill where we took some bridal portraits. The couple’s warm and bright smiles were contagious as their entire family stole the dance floor until the very end. We loved being a part of this memorable day with Nick and Amy. They are such loyal people to one another as well as all who know them and call them friends.
Nick and Amy, you are two of the sweetest and most genuine people we have ever met. May your love for each other continue to grow each day and may it stand as a beacon of light to everyone around you to bring a greater degree of warmth and gladness to a world that so desperately needs it! We love you guys!
