No place like home for the holidays

This year we spent Thanksgiving close to home. We normally travel to Maine as a family, but since I am 9 months pregnant, we thought it would be best to stay in CT. My parents and my brother and his family don’t live far, so my mom and dad hosted. My mom has a wonderful way of making her home so inviting. She has such a wonderful style in decorating her home and it seems to come very natural to her. Not only was the table set up beautifuly, so was the rest of the house. It felt great to relax and enjoy family time. Exactly what the holidays are all about. The only bummer was that I caught a bad cold which ran its course through the holiday and over the weekend. I couldn’t taste my Thanksgiving dinner at all. table table2

  • Dana - Beautiful photos, Rachel. You really have a great, natural way of capturing. I’ve glad you four enjoyed your holiday. Hope you and the baby are well.

    Blessings to you,

  • Eric Foley - Wow, you really do it up for Thanksgiving! It makes me want to eat it all over again. BTW, congratulations on your pregnancy, that’s awesome!ReplyCancel
