It’s always an honor anytime a fellow photographer recommends your work. Chris and Kate came to us through Chuck May of Chuck May Photography. As Kate was getting ready she had her parents and two sisters nearby, helping with each detail and making sure she looked perfect for Chris. It was fun to stand back and watch Kate’s family interact with one another. You could sense a closeness between them that is very special and very rare. This was the first of many moments throughout the day that showed the beautiful love that they had as a family.
Throughout the day there were many details that had great personal meaning to Chris and Kate. They chose their colors to represent the purple of Holy Cross College and the oranges of fall, specifically October. The reception was held in the backyard at the home of Chris’s parents which was nestled on a quaint little pond. They literally thought of everything, even creatively giving out plastic beer steins as favors which not only symbolized Oktoberfest, but also their new last name. The entire day culminated in a spectacular fireworks show over the pond.
Chris and Kate, you both have wonderful, loving families and we wish you the best as you now start building your own house of love. May your marriage be filled with the same beauty and attention to detail as your wedding and may it also produce a host of fireworks for all to see!
