I have to tell you right up front that this couple is just absolutely adorable! There you go – I said it. Consider yourself warned!
Ryan and Annie are truly one of the sweetest couples we have had the honor of meeting and photographing over the years. There is a genuineness about them and an innocence (particularly in Annie) that you just don’t see anymore. In a day and age where more and more relationships and more and more intimate moments in life are being exploited and taken advantage of, there is little left to be anticipated, celebrated and enjoyed. Working with a couple like Ryan and Annie was a much needed breath of refreshing air and it took us back to a more simple time in life.
It was not hard to tell that this was a day that Ryan and Annie (and both of their families) had looked forward to for quite some time. You could sense the excitement and expectation all around. Annie could even be described as giddy that day as you’ll see very clearly in several of the photos. Their love had simmered long and good. They had taken their time and done things right and now they were ready to see their love be fully realized and fulfilled as they joined together in marriage and began their own life and family together.
Just like their relationship, there was nothing flashy or over the top about their wedding. It was very simple and understated and beautiful and they spent a ton of time and energy working on even the smallest of details of their day together. What their efforts produced was a visual representation of their love for one another and for their family members and friends in attendance.
Ryan and Annie, thank you so much for counting us worthy to be a part of your wedding day. Your love was truly inspiring and we pray that as you build your marriage and eventual family that you will take the same amount of care and attention to detail in crafting that as you did for your wedding. We trust that you will and can’t wait to see the same beauty of your wedding day be reflected for many generations ahead to see!
