This past weekend we had the privilege of traveling up to Quechee, VT, to photograph Tim and Jessica’s wedding. Tim and Jess have a love for the outdoors. They have made many memories hiking, camping, skiing, distance running and traveling together. We loved how they incorporated all of these elements into their wedding. It made for a very adventurous day which we were thrilled to be a part of and won’t soon forget. Their reception was held at the Quechee Club. Jess grew up skiing and vacationing there, so it was very meaningful to her and her family to celebrate such a momentous occasion at their home away from home. It was equally meaningful to the staff to have the opportunity to serve them.
Tim’s sister, Sarah (also in the bridal party), lives in India. She not only brought back the shoes the girls were wearing, but also decorated Jess’s feet in henna.
You can’t have a reception at a ski club without riding the chairlift to the top for pictures. This was definitely a first for all of us. I tried not to freak out watching Brian change lenses approximately 25 feet off the ground during the ride. It’s difficult not to when you’re holding such expensive and delicate equipment. Luckily there were no mishaps!! Thank you, Tim and Jess, for including us in your special day. May your marriage be as special and filled with so many intricate moments as your wedding had.
