Wolcott, CT Wedding Photography | Jacques + Jessica

Jacques and Jessica have a very special love. There are many things they enjoy doing together (i.e.-collecting sea glass) and they are meticulous at collecting and documenting their shared memories. As a wedding gift to Jessica, Jacques even had a beautiful, custom-made book made of their memories up to this point in their journey with plenty of blank pages for them to continue to fill as they now start a family together. They chose Rocky Neck State Park as the location for their engagement photos as they had many fond memories of spending time there over the years.

The wedding celebration was intimate and a great representation of both their love and their individual personalities that literally drew people from all over the globe to Connecticut who wanted to share in the joy of the occasion. Jessica was adamant that she not have roses in her bouquets and found the perfect florist in Rita’s Floral Touch in Bethel to pull off such a feat. Not only did the bouquets avoid the typical rose arrangements, but each bouquet in the bridal party was unique. The results were gorgeous and exactly what Jessica had hoped for. Jacques on the other hand is a bit of a lady’s man (and he will be the first to admit it)! For him, it was important to have his closest and dearest friends stand beside him at the altar and in his case, it just so happened that most of them were females. They very faithfully served him as “groomsmaids.” Many brides might feel threatened or jealous for their soon-to-be husbands to be surrounded by so many women on the wedding day, but it was yet another testimony to the confidence and security they have in their love for each other that they could easily navigate this piece of their special day without a hitch. Anyone in the room could tell that Jacques doesn’t look at anyone else the way that he looks at Jessica. He was giddy, excited, emotional, and overall just beaming with a warmth and love that no one else on Earth could ever make him feel like besides his beautiful bride. It is a rare and precious gift in today’s world to find two people as in love as Jacques and Jessica. The images below are just a taste of the kind of beauty a love like that can produce!

Another important passion for their wedding, especially for Jacques, was the photography. We were so honored to be selected to document this important moment in their lives and their relationship with each other. From the very first meeting we had with them, it was a continuous discussion of the process and the art form of photography and how we could utilize our gifts, talents and experience to provide them with the lasting images they were looking for. We love any couple who appreciates the work we do and trusts us completely to let our creativity run wild. We hope you enjoy the results!

Jacques and Jessica, you are two beautiful souls who were destined to be together. May there be a continual increase in both the quantity and quality of the memories you make together as you start your new life together. We wish you all the best!
