What is one of the most unforgettable memories you have of being a mom?
Mine is the time my son and I went on a date to Stew Leonard’s together. He was probably 11 at the time. We got food from the hot bar and a glass bottle of sparkling lemonade. We sat in the car in the parking lot and ate out of the containers and drank from the bottle. We chatted and laughed together.
We didn’t plan any of it. It was random and out of our normal routine of sitting at the dinner table, yet it was a memory that we still talk about.
Motherhood isn’t always put together and perfectly planned. Sometimes it’s the random, messy moments that make for the best memories!
